Am I the only person thats noticed this? or am i just going crazy?

There's been something bugging me about the design of the Play Station 3 for a while and I've just worked out what it is,

The recess in front of the DVD slot is a rip off of the design of the Betamax Video recorder.

If Play Station really wanted to go for the authentic 1970's feel they should have got some wood paneling on the sides Atari 2600 style.
