Even though I stand by my previous comment that Adam Smith should not be on the £20 note, I think I need his help!
I understand the basic concept of supply and demand, what I don't understand is how the "Little Chef" keeps going as a national chain? Last time I went in there were three times as many staff as customers! Is it normal to have more staff than customers?
Another time I when in there where only two members of staff in, male and female. I got the distinct feeling that I was interrupting things! Does the "Little Chef" get so little custom that the staff feel that you turning up and wanting food is an infringement on there love life?
