# 185: Leeds got lucky

The loophole that Leeds United and Boston slipped though last season has now been closed.

Any club that goes into administration after the 4th Thursday in March will now have 10 points deducted in the following season. This will allow Leeds and Boston to start with a clean slate in the 2007/08 season.

Even though I'm outraged at this decision (feel in Leeds should have started on minus ten points) I am comforted by the knowledge that the chairmanship of Ken Bates and the managerial prowess of Dennis wise are enough of a handicap all ready.
