Unlike the no nonsense entertainment in Football, cheerleaders seem to have taken off in Rugby League. So to Highlight this phenomenon the must mature thing I thought I could do was to make a "Super League" based on each Clubs most attractive cheerleaders.

The things I go through for you faithful readers!

The task has not been easy, for a start Bradford, Catalans, Harlequins, St Helens, Wigan, and Warrington don't seem to have Cheerleaders on there sites! Hull KR seem to have a policy of only employing cheerleaders who are under 18 and therefore not eligible for consideration for this league. Just out of interest with the previous post in mind I wonder if Hull KR employ younger women because they can pay them less? Maybe McJob should be changed to HullKRJob!

1st - For the first time every Wakefield Trinity are top of the League with Sarah Robinson! Winner of the first Rugby League Cheerleader Super League!



2nd - Heather (apparently she only has one name like Pele) takes the Huddersfield Giants into second place! She was let down by not having the cheerleader look, but bonus points for wearing the shirt (I wonder if she has an Huddersfield Town shirt?)


3rd - Emma Cumberbatch of Salford City Reds, classic cheerleader look!


4th - Lois (Again no last name) of Hull FC, with a classy black and white photo, see there are classy things in Hull! Well sort of if you think pom poms are classy!


5th - Lauren Green of the Leeds Rhinos comes in 5th with her kinky boots!
